 Convoy Attack

The attack on the Gresham enclave to capture the visiting Mullah was not successful in that the Mullah managed to escape capture.  However, three of his top Lieutenants were in fact captured in the raid.

Chicago Police are transporting the three Lieutenants are being transported to the Cook County Prison lockup.  Unfortunately, the Mullah’s people have inside information and have gained knowledge of the route being taken.  The route will take a convoy North on I-90 and then South West on I-55.  The convoy will be led by one National Guard Humvee, one Chicago Police cruiser, and Chicago Police armored truck holding the prisoners, one additional Police cruiser and one additional National Guard Humvee to bring up the rear.

US Mission

The convoy will travel North on I-90 from the Gresham Police lockup and transition to I-55 South West.  They plan to exit at Kedzie Ave. and turn onto California Ave. to head to the Prison.  Once at the prison the prisoners will be transferred to the Department of Corrections where Homeland Security and the FBI will conduct their interrogations.

Insurgent Mission

While the Mullah escaped capture, his top Lieutenants did not, and he wants them back. His informants inside the Police have informed him of the prisoner transport to the County lockup.  An attack on this route has been planned to happen shortly after the convoy exits the highway.  The streets will be blocked off by two busses, one in front of the lead vehicle, and another after the trailing vehicle.  The first bus will disable the lead Humvee with an RPG.  The same with the second bus thus blocking the convoy from escaping the ambush.

 Kill the infidels and free our three brothers!
